Project Description:
The Exxon-Mobil headquarters in Spring, Texas is a study in environmental stewardship. Opened in 2014, the campus has achieved Gold-level LEED certification, thanks to its sustainable design and energy and water efficiency. To achieve the highest levels of sustainability in the campus landscape, smart irrigation systems were employed that utilize rainwater captured onsite. Eighty-percent of the campus remains vegetated, and what doesn’t remain in its natural state features native plant material.
