The Plantation at Leesburg in Central Florida Selects BrightView to Maintain Golf Courses
BrightView Golf Maintenance has been selected to provide golf course maintenance services at The Plantation at Leesburg in Leesburg, Fla. The residential community features two 18-hole courses, Otter Creek Course and Cranes Roost Course.
Since coming onboard late in the fall of 2022, BrightView has been working to upgrade the condition of the golf courses, including overseeing the grow-in process of the recently re-grassed greens on both courses.
The Plantation at Leesburg’s Cranes Roost Course lays in the gentle rolling hills, while its Otter Creek Course weaves through mature trees and a beautiful, native dark water stream.
“I’m very happy to have BrightView here,” said Terry Govern, General Manager of The Plantation at Leesburg. “Knowing a few of the BrightView Golf Maintenance people personally, I’m excited and confident in the job they will do for us.”
“We know the condition of a golf course, especially greens, are a determining factor in where people play golf,” said Terry McGuire, Vice President of BrightView Golf Maintenance. “We look forward to using our expertise to groom The Plantation’s courses and maintain their Championship status.”
With 40 years of experience and more than 80 partner courses, BrightView has refined the art, science, and operations of golf course maintenance to bring their clients better playing conditions, reductions in cost, and improved crew training.
