BrightView Landscapes, LLC, the nation's leading landscape services and snow removal company, today announced the acquisition of Environmental Earthscapes, Inc.

Students at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School were working on an outdoor learning space and after the tragedy of Feb. 14, BrightView offered its services to help improve the area. The students, faculty, and BrightView worked together to finish the garden and installed a reflective and tranquility garden as a place to learn and heal, featuring 17 granite stones for the lives lost in the tragedy.

At Southern Connecticut State University, students, faculty, staff, and members of the community worked together to create a Remembrance Garden, featuring the university's Alumnae Sandy Hook Memorial to honor the memory of the four alumni educators who were lost in the tragedy. 

After spending 200 years serving a military purpose, Governors Island has now become a tourist destination that features historic forts, four artificial and themed hills, parade grounds for events, and offers visitors unique views of the surrounding skylines and attractions.

Hurricane Maria brought devastation never before seen on Puerto Rico, shutting down ports, destroying crops, and knocking out power to the entire island. Seven months later, as they are still working to recover, Major League Baseball is returning for a two-game series between the Cleveland Indians and the Minnesota Twins.

Within the first three weeks of March, four nor'easters pummeled the Northeast, dropping record amounts of snowfall in many cities, strong winds knocking out power to millions, and icy floods to coastal areas.

BrightView was the recipient of two maintenance awards from the Arizona Landscape Contractors Association for its work at Province, an active adult community in Maricopa, Ariz. BrightView received an Award of Excellence and the Best Maintenance Practices Award.

BrightView Golf Maintenance has entered into a long-term maintenance partnership with the award-winning The Golf Club at Cuscowilla in Eatonton, Ga.

Two Oracle campuses, both located in California, were awarded for efficient water use by the Silicon Valley Water Conservation Awards Coalition. Working with BrightView, Oracle was able to save more than $500,000 and 91 million gallons of potable water in just one year.

The FCA US headquarters in Michigan won the Grand Award for Turf Maintenance by the National Association of Landscape Professionals - an award that can only be won once every 10 years in each category. BrightView maintains the 147-acre campus.
