BrightView's Isaiah Lienau, head groundskeeper for MiLB's Las Vegas Aviators, was recently named as Pacific Coast League's Groundskeeper of the Year. Lienau has been a part of many unique games throughout his career, including MLB at Field of Dreams, the London Series, and the Little League Classic.

BrightView team members volunteered to spend a day clearing out and cleaning up the overgrown south side of Ellis Island where stands an abandoned hospital complex. Called Ellis Island’s forgotten hospital, the 22-building complex was one of the largest public health undertakings in the country and is where immigrants were treated if they were sick or needed to be quarantined upon arriving to the U.S.

We built it and they’re coming… again! As anticipation builds for the encore to last year’s MLB at Field of Dreams game, BrightView is deep in the thick of a Dyersville, Iowa cornfield fine tuning and carefully manicuring the major league field inspired by the beloved 1989 film. Led by Murray Cook, President of BrightView’s Sports Turf division, BrightView performed all site work and constructed the ballfield, bullpens, fencing, and foul poles, as well as oversaw installation of the outfield wall, backstop net, and various player-related areas.

BrightView Golf Maintenance recently added to its industry-leading portfolio of 29 municipal partners by signing a partnership agreement with the City of Gainesville at its 18-hole Ironwood Golf Club, located in north-central Florida.

Continuing its mission as the premier provider of golf course maintenance services, BrightView Golf Maintenance added to its industry-leading portfolio by signing a partnership agreement with the Southport residential community on Cape Cod to maintain their 9-hole golf course.

A Military Wall of Honor was recently rededicated in Riverside, Calif., in time for Memorial Day following a monthslong makeover. BrightView was commissioned to refurbish the landscaping in front of the monument.

BrightView will be responsible for all aspects of course maintenance, including turf, irrigation, and equipment, with a main priority to always provide the finest of golf course conditions.
