BrightView Appoints Andrew Masterman as Chief Executive Officer
BrightView, the nation’s leading landscape services company, announced today that Andrew Masterman is joining the company as President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Masterman, who also will join the company’s Board of Directors, succeeds Pat Velasco, who has served as Interim Chief Executive Officer since July 2016. Mr. Velasco will continue in that role until Mr. Masterman joins the company in December 2016. Mr. Velasco will remain on BrightView’s Board of Directors.

About Andrew Masterman
Mr. Masterman has an extensive background across varied industrial businesses and with significant experience managing large organizations. Mr. Masterman is joining BrightView after serving as Executive Vice President at Precision Castparts, a Berkshire Hathaway company that specializes in manufacturing structural investment castings, forged components, and airfoil castings for aircraft engines and industrial gas turbines. At Precision Castparts, Mr. Masterman served as President of the Wyman Gordon and Structural Casting segments, two key segments within the ~$7 billion Investment Cast Products and Forged Products segments. Prior to Precision Castparts, Mr. Masterman served as President and Chief Executive Officer of North America for ESAB Group, Inc., a leader in welding and cutting equipment and consumables. Mr. Masterman will be working out of BrightView’s Plymouth Meeting location.
